Oren Nataf claimed victory in the Armen Race in the Multi 2000 category. Competing on Rayon Vert, the Yacht Club de Monaco member completed the 350 nautical mile course in particularly challenging conditions. At the end of 1 day 12 hours 6 minutes and 33 seconds at sea, battling winds over 40 knots, he secured victory in his category and achieved a remarkable 2nd place overall out of the 200 boats registered.
YCM competes at French Handivalide Championship
YCM were competing in the French Handivalide Championship and continues to develop its sailing policy for people with disabilities. For several seasons now, YCM has been developing this activity with a clear objective: to enable able-bodied sailors and those with a disability to sail together on the same courses and under the same conditions. A flagship event of this commitment is the Navicap Challenge-Elena Sivoldaeva Trophy which in just a few years is now a recognised event on the European circuit. The momentum behind it was evident this week on Lac de l’Ailette at the French Handivalide Championship Double and the National Solo Hansa 303 organised by the French Sailing Federation.

YCM sailors stood out at the ORC World Championship in Naples. Held during the Tre Golfi Sailing Week, the 2026 edition once again attracted an international fleet to Naples and Sorrento. Giovanni Lombardi Stronati and Vincenzo Onorato both secured 4th places in their respective categories at the end of a challenging week of offshore racing and inshore races in the Gulf of Naples.
Jolt 2 competes in a J/70 Cup race at Lerici
Jolt 2 was competing at a J/70 Cup regatta that proved particularly challenging. At Act II of the J/70 Italian Cup, the boat owned by Peter Harrison from YCM finished 16th overall after four races completed in unstable conditions.
Argynne III shines at Les Dames de Saint-Tropez 2026
Argynne III shone at Les Dames de Saint-Tropez 2026. Helmed by Anne Rodelato from Yacht Club de Monaco, this Marconi classic finished 2nd in the Classic category and 4th in the all-female category at the end of an edition held in the bay of Saint-Tropez. Contestants enjoyed a weekend of two beautiful days of sailing before the last race was cancelled due to a massive swell.
Malizia and Boris Herrmann return to competition at the Tour de Belle-Île
Malizia and Boris Herrmann returned to competition at the 14th Tour de Belle-Île. Competing in the P’tit Tour by Suzuki format, the Yacht Club de Monaco skipper and his crew finished 2nd in the Open Class on the GC32 Malizia 1. The return is significant for the crew as it comes a few weeks before the launch of their new IMOCA.

Alegre and Andres Soriano launched their TP52 Super Series season in Puerto Portals. For this first stage of the 2026 circuit held 4-9 May, the owner, a member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, and his crew were competing in one of the most competitive fleets in one design racing. Against a field of 14 teams representing 11 nations, Alegre finished 13th after an intense week in Palma Bay.

The Superyacht Eco Association SEA Index® announces a strategic partnership with the Japan Marina & Beach Association (JMBA), marking its first institutional alliance in the Asia Pacific region and a new chapter in the international deployment of measurable, third -party verified sustainability standards in yachting.
As an Institutional Member, JMBA adds its portfolio of 87 marinas to the SEA Index® superyacht ecosystem, which already comprises 25 major superyacht ports and marinas. Surpassing the 100 marina mark, the network is approaching a tipping point, where shared verifiable standards and transparent data begin to reshape norms and accelerate the adoption of better environmental practices in yachting.
YCM sailors train on Lake Geneva in Hansa 303
YCM were fine-tuning preparations on Lake Geneva in Hansa 303. Christiane-Eugénie Gautier and Nicolas Lelu, supervised by Yacht Club de Monaco coach Alexandre Richard, took part in the second national training session held at Sciez on the French banks of Lake Geneva. It was an important event as this is the venue that will host the 2027 World Championship.

Today the classic yacht WIKI (1920) cast off from the quay, officially launching Wiki’s Centennial Expedition led by her owner, the filmmaker and YCM member Tom Woods. More than a departure, today marks the start of a long-term project filled with encounters, exchanges and empowering people through education to help protect and preserve the Mediterranean.
