Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series

It is a winter regatta circuit organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco since 2013. Dedicated mainly to the J/70 class, it offers crews competitive winter training on one of the most consistent stretches of water in the Mediterranean. This event has become a benchmark for preparing major one-design races, notably the Primo Cup – UBS Trophy, which forms the series’ final act.

Races take place in Monaco between November and March, over three days of competition per act, in the Monaco bay — a body of water known for its winter stability, ideal for crews looking to fine-tune their technical preparation.

The series brings together an international fleet mixing professional and Corinthian crews. The J/70 Monaco Class Association, with 17 boats, is one of the largest J/70 hubs in the Mediterranean basin. Every winter this dynamic draws teams seeking a high level of competition and consistent conditions essential for progress at the top level.

Chaque acte comprend plusieurs manches courtes, enchaînées rapidement pour reproduire un rythme de compétition intense. Selon la météo, jusqu’à huit à dix manches peuvent être validées. The event lets teams:
